ETFE film is light in weight, and the weight per unit area of 25 micron thick FEP film is only 108g, which is 2% of the glass front plate. It can transmit ultraviolet rays and has excellent self-cleaning properties, widely used as a transparent layer on solar cells replace of glass. It is also extremely durable and has no changes in outdoor used after more than 20 years.
